Part 2 (1945-1960) is dedicated to the reconstruction after the war, the throne away from the inauguration of Queen Wilhelmina and Queen Juliana. But also the war in Indie and Korea and of course the big flood of 1953 in 1953 are not lacking on this DVD. Part 3 (1960-1975) contains images of, inter alia, the construction of the Zeeland bridge, the coldest elfstedentocht, the marriage of Princess Beatrix and is Prime Minister Joop den Uyl. Volume 4 (1975-1990) and part 5 (1990-2000) contain a lot of images that most of us remember. So come on part 4, among other things, the Lockheed affair and the fall of the Cabinet den Uyl to bid. Is that the new Prime Minister dries van Agt and the inauguration of Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands. On part 5 of the DVD box, of course, come the Bijlmer disaster, the plane crash in Faro, the Gulf war and Kosovo over.
But in addition to these topics provide the DVD’s so much more interesting events in Dutch history. Also developments, such as the cassette recorder, cd player, computer games and video games, and even the emergence of a whole new province, Flevoland, are not lacking in this review. All great historical imagery, with comment by Ingrid Delos Reyes and Charles Groenhuijsen. Strengholt will on March 16, 2006 another DVD that may offer the most beautiful and impressive images from 2000 to 2005, including, of course, the murder of Pim Fortuyn and Theo van Gogh. Unfortunately there is no place in this box kept free for the sixth DVD, so these will have to add to the collection you loose. Definitely a great nice overview of Dutch history. Not only fun for yourself, but also giant interesting for your children who can fill with their history lessons to real images of, for example, events in the second world war and the flood disaster.Picture of Netherlands (from the Polygon & NOS-journal) 1920-2000Strengholt multimedia playing time 1230 minutes list price 39.95
