You may walk a whole week \ ‘ \ ‘ with the film crew, you will get to know the secrets of the special effects and the most inventive solutions.
Everyone is the word. How is it to be months away from home and to live on an island? How are you going with each other? And what, if you suddenly from the series is being written; you just suddenly gets a phone call? How hard is it to without camera-experience a survivor of a plane disaster to play? How hectic does a day in the writers room? How heated discussions, how high the pressure? What should you consider? How much influence do you have on the story and what, if there is a drastic turn of events is needed; How to go about that? At what logistical problems runs a camera crew to? The book is of a manageable size, has a nice clear layout, but also playful and is very readable. It is packed with information and many photos make the image complete. But also the original design and a fascinating selection of the interviews make sure you pick up the book again and again for browsing. The doubts, the insecurities, the panic when working with the clock in the back are so human and realistic that you don’t otherwise than sympathy.
I must honestly confess that I had never heard of the series Lost, but this book because I wanted to read the behind-the-scenes-find books just to feast on. This book definitely lived up to my high expectations. And more; It has made me warm for the series and I can’t wait until I have the dvd’s to pack to view the result of all that work in moving pictures. At all now I can watch it with a lot of inside information. In short: The Lost Chronicles is not only an absolute must have for the true fan, but certainly a worthy future warming up for the fan.
