The African Mama ' s

the Red wire of the show is the story of a young girl on the way to adulthood. Understated songs, sometimes in Afrikaans, sometimes in English, bring the emotion of these African women well over on the public. The famous number ‘ Homeless ‘ is performed inimitably, something that another goose bumps moment. Also you will be carried along as audience on the merry sounds of festive and exuberant songs full of passion and zest for life. Side-by-side dancing seem smooth hip movements of the women on wavy water. Song and dance reinforce each other in a way that completely natural feel and entertained. The singers introduce themselves one by one to the public, in which they briefly describe their personal é n fight victory. Again impresses again their optimism and life force. All they have in their own way have to fight hard to become who they are today. They force simply respect with their proud attitude to life.

” Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves. Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented or fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. You playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. ” (…) After the break something in the show drops in my opinion, but that is later made up for by a spectacular performance with drums and dancing. There is plenty of meegeklapt by the public and the enthusiasm of the performers is contagious. Already looking around I see that people in the public have their own party. Many people has struggled to remain silent be. The standing ovation at the end of the show is fully in place. When after the Encore then finally the curtain falls, I realize that these women do more than entertain only. These women bring a message. They are living proof that you can make your dreams come true and that you can overcome adversity.
